i got no problems with muse seeing a ive never heard of them

and i like qotsa

Muse are quite good, I like their older stuff a bit more. He has a very talented falsetto and mid-range voice.

The best gig I ever went to was a Muse gig. They aren't my favourite band (not to say they aren't up there though :p) The way Matt Bellamy leaps and prances about the stage whilst singing and playing lead guitar is unreal.

I have one of their albums. I was suprised at how bad it was

Muse are OK. I haven't got any of their albums, but plenty of my friends are fans so I've heard a lot of stuff through them. Bombastic space-rock isn't really more sort of thing, but I suppose if that's what you're looking for then Muse do it better than most. Plus, they put on one hell of a live show.

I don't think I hate any artists. There's a lot of bad music out there, but if a band really believes in what it's doing then I can't see any reason to dislike them just because it isn't my personal taste. At the same time, there are some bands whose attitude really irritates me (Oasis, Kasabian) but who I'll grudgingly admit have a couple of catchy songs. There probably is an artist out there without any redeeming features who I could honestly say I "hate", but since I can't think of any at the moment, I obviously don't feel that strongly about it. :p

I don't really care much for Muse, although they do have a song I remember liking, can't remember it though.
I don't really hate any band. I occasionally throw a jab at a band to piss off a friend in a discussion. Can't say I hate any though, that's a little bit too extreme.

Muse are not great, but they're OK. They've made a couple of songs that I like, but that's about it.


Bands/artists I hate/really dislike include:

- Akon
- 50 Cent
- The Pussycat Dolls
- Black Eyed Peas
- Fergie
- Most Techno music
- etc.

Lol, this thread turned to a Hip Hop/Rap bashing thread in minutes...Anyway, I never heard Muse before and their seems to be a lot of mixed opinions about the band here...

Muse are awesome.

Muse are boring and pretentious for mine, but whatever floats the boat. I also agree that QOTSA are another band that just make my ears want to puke. I hate their songs in Guitar Hero because I hate having to listen to them to progress in a game

I was kinda fond of a couple of muse's songs off absolution, but I love almost everyone on black holes and revolutions xD

apparently a lot of people like either the 'old stuff' or the current cd, so if you haven't listened to both types, maybe you should just to make sure.

I really can't stand Frank Sinatra :(

@Polaris: I agree MCR are really starting to annoy me. I thought they were alright, but recently, whenever I hear one of their songs, I just want to scream. Panic! though, I haven't heard enough of them to make a decision.

Oh, :3 Muse. Yeah. I don't like them, they breathe too much. All that gasping for air after every line, jesus....

I would like muse if they changed their singing style so that they didn't sound SO DAMN WHINY. Knights of Cydonia isn't bad as far as their songs go, especially with the music video which makes it more entertaining.
