What do you mean the bank is out of money?

its on every night here but they just keep playing episodes from the last few years i like some that at least break the five year limit better yet ten year

The older episodes are the better ones. Newer ones are cut down in order to make room for more commercial time and feel too rushed.

I like the show and consider myself a fan, but I haven't nearly seen all of the episodes and I don't own any of them on DVD as of yet. But yeah, The Simpsons are and will always be an American classic like e.g. Seinfeld, Cheers and Friends.

The biggest difference I see is in Homer's stupidity. Back in the day, he was incredibly stupid, and it was funny as hell. Now, he's just retarded, and it's not very funny at all.

I'm not enough of a fan to know what seasons are what, etc, but it seemed like that for just about all of the '90s the show was amazing. In recent years, I haven't been enjoying them. Also, Futurama >>> The Simpsons.

Maybe we should write a petition to Matt Groening to discontinue The Simpsons for the sake of his own artistic integrity?
