Metal Gear Solid 1 + 2 for a grand total of $15.
And if someone bought my copy of Neo Contra for $10 I would feel blessed. Is it rare?

It's rare enough, especially to find in its original shrinkwrap from 2004.
Suikoden 2 on a street corner for $4.95!
I made that one up, though. I don't know, Dragon Quest 3 in mint condition with box/manual for $15, I guess. Not many deals to be had in this area.
Not too long ago I found a used copy of Final Fantasy tactics Advance on a Gamestop shelf for € 9.99. On the next shelf there was a copy of exactly the same game, used, for € 26.
Oh, and I found a copy of FF V Advance for, like, €6. Yesterday I saw one in a shop and it was € 44! :o
Yeah, unless you go to a second-hand shop you'll be lucky to find GameCube games in Britain too. I think Gamestation sell them, but they tend to be more orientated towards older stuff than places like *shudder* Game are.
I believe I picked up my copy of SSB:M for a whopping £10 which probably counts as among the best £10s I've ever spent
Even GameStaion have pretty much stopped with GameCube games now, since GAME bought GameStation out, it's gone down hill.
Still 2 for £20 or the 4 for £20 deals are pretty sweet.
I did manage to get Smash Bros Brawl for $10 eventually.
It doesn't count if you lose games in the process. ;p
I bought a copy of Xenogears for $40, and then two months later it went Greatest Hits and could be found everywhere for dirt cheap.
Gamestop sure got a good deal out of that one!
Actually, going back - way back - there was this little game store in Columbus that had a sale of like 2 used PS1 games for like $15. I got a copy of FF8 and Star Ocean 2, which I think is/was fairly rare. And then I barely played it 'cause it's real hard
Back in the day, I found Lufia and Secret of Mana for $10 each at a pawn shop with box, manual, maps, etc... all in good condition.
It looked like someone that took good care of their games decided they didn't want them or needed the money and sold them to the pawn shop which had no idea how rare/valuable the items were with all of their packaging and inserts.
a couple years ago, well 3-4, I bought final fantasy 7 for $13, which to me, was a great deal. Since then from letting friends borrow it, and not taking care of it too well, its kind of not working.
So recently ive purchased it for around $100
A few years ago I got Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete for something like $12, new.
Traded Bugs Bunny Lost In Time (don't ask, I was very young) for my friend's copy of FF7.
Bought Suikoden 1 + 2 for £10.
