Being passionate is one thing. I've seen plenty of people who are equally passionate about their career, however, who are willing to admit they made mistakes, who are willing to learn from those mistakes, and who are willing to accept criticism. Being passionate does not excuse you from being an arrogant twit.

Now, I would not support the forming of a petition to end the guy's career, but he asked for it. Literally. That makes this totally acceptable. Whether he ends his career or not, maybe he'll learn to be more careful what he wishes for.

Unfortunately, I dislike giving out my e-mail address (not to mention my real name), so I won't be signing.

This is the guy who said that the reason gamers hate his movies is that they're all virgins who live in their parents' basements. This is the guy who had a giant hissyfit when Wired didn't like his movie. This is the guy who thought it would be funny to parody 9/11.

It's not just that his movies suck. It's that he's a giant asshole about it.

The fact that it needs over 10x what it has now leaves me somewhat skeptical.

The fact that it has 4x what it had two days ago isn't a bad sign, though. :P
