Is there any secret to all the minigames or do I really just suck? The number minigame, even when closing the DS and working it out first, I still only manage to get to around 6000 points before the time runs out. I'd like to think I am doing it rather fast, so either I am just really slow or there is a trick?
The Cecil one still is annoying though...

What, wait? How is it possible to get 9999 on Rydia's game? I usually get 7000, but I just barely got 9000 once, which I'm convinced is the best possible. I'm playing on an emulator and whenever new numbers come up, I click on "File" to pause the emulator and take all the time I want to solve the equation. Even doing that, there's just no way to drag and drop those numbers fast enough to get higher than 9000. seriously, how is anyone doing that? If I'm skipping all the time it take to solve the equation and still only getting to 9000, how can anyone possibly do it without cheating and still move the numbers fast enough to get that high of a score?

If you can do it 9 times in a row then you get 9999. But to do that in 60 seconds is a big stretch. If you can't do it, then how does the OP do it?! *tempted to just Action Replay it*
Edit: Okay after getting around 5 9000 I finally got 9999. I don't feel I did it any faster, so I'm not sure what's up... Now to get it two more times.

After a lot of attempts I finally got 9999 on Rosa's game. Unfortunately I still suck at the rest of them. My best score in Cecil's is just under 9000, Kain's is 6500, Edge's is just over 7000, and I'm not even going to mention my terrible score in Rydia's. But, has anyone else noticed that even when she rejoins the team as an adult she's still a kid when you play her game?
Also, I gave my Whyt a makeover and instead of looking retarded he now looks stoned.

Finally got Rydia's 9999 score three times, Rosa's was easy to get 9999 three times. Cecil I have spent the last couple of days at, and managed to get 9999 two times (no tricks, just one stylis and luck). I am now trying to get the last 9999 on that game. I haven't got Kain or Edge yet (just turned Cecil into a Paladin).
These minigames are addicting, yet very very frustrating. I wish they would have improved the UI for Cecil's game, and not base these minigames on pure luck. Rydia's game, even if you were awesome at math, you'd still need to pull out tricks to get it fast enough -- it shouldn't be based on how fast you can close the lid and put numbers in the boxes, but rather your math skill.
/end rant
Well, hopefully Kain and Edge's isn't as bad as Cecil's. Cecil's has been the worst, and using two stylis' makes me ever worse at it. Sometimes the stylis is unresponsive (usually at the worst time), the Escape button is way too big, and the Swords button is far too small. If I ever see the person who designed these minigames, I will punch them in the face.

I hate that about Cecil's game too. The amount of times I touched Whyt when trying to get a rather speedy Goblin is not funny. The game should freeze and ask you if you really want to escape.
