Whoever said Frankie Goes to Hollywood - strictly they're at least three-hit wonders - what about Two Tribes or The Power of Love? Neither as big as Relax but then not much in the 80s was.
Cornershop deserved to be much more than the on-hit wonders they were with the remix of Brimful of Asha. They're a great band.
Fair enough. Another band that perhaps could be considered a one-hit wonder could be Fastball with the song "The Way." But they indeed had 1 or 2 more big ones. Does anyone even click links anymore?
EDIT:
Speaking of Canon...
Yaaay, this is my guilty pleasure too. My parents get sick of me watching the One-Hit-Wonder things on TV.
Well, one of my favorites is (of course) "Macarena". I don't think you get more one-hit-wonder than that. My very favorite is probably A-Ha's "Take On Me". I looove when boys hit those high notes. <3 The music video is any geek-girl's dream.
Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffany's
The Proclaimers - 500 miles (I'm gonna be)
Fine Young Cannibals - She Drives Me Crazy
Tears For Fears - Shout (although they also had Mad World...)
Drowning Pool - Let the Bodies Hit the Floor
Most of these bands aren't one hit wonders.
yeah, how can you call a band like Faith No More on hit wonders!?
Electric Feel by MGMT.
I absolutely adore that song, but can't imagine any other songs of theirs will be as popular, just a once off =]!
Much like that Hey there delilah song or whatever it was, then fangirls found out he was a tool ^^~
>>> I know some of those..
Sandra - Maria Magdalena
Black - Wonderful Life.
XTC - King For A Day
Love and Money - Halleluiah Man (looks like the original vid is nowhere)
Yeah well, It's the ultimate one-hit wonder but I refuse to say it without at least trying.
Because only one of their songs was a hit on the charts... Which constitutes a 'hit.' I agree their other music is great and with such publicity as appearing in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey they should of had many more to come, but the fact remains that 'Epic' is probably the only song of theirs considered a hit.
