Actually Stonesour is objectively quite a lot better than Slipknot. Sorry.
I used to love Cory Taylor and Slipknot. They were my favourite band in the whole world. I had Slipknot hoodies, posters, badges, everything.
Then I turned 15.
I weighed into the matter with my deep probing Rye mind powers to see if Cory Taylor is right or wrong.
And I've come to a conclusion. Metallica and Slipknot are both very arrogant and to be quite frank, not very good aside from a few songs, so their arrogance makes both bands look like douchenozzles! That's settled. Goodbye~*~ <3

the fact is, they make good music and he knows it.
Theres also quite a lot of albums better than Black so it wouldnt be suprising if Slipknot did better
I don't believe Slipknot could ever beat Metallica on the awesomeness scale.
He's arrogant. So what? Just ignore the fool, but the music if it's cool. If not, ignore that too. Arguing over who's better just wastes time that could be spent listening to music :D

Its possible, considering Metallica hasn't had a good new song in 10 or 15 years. As far as I know Slipknot has yet to sue their fans, too. Who knows. I don't really listen to either. Though I did used to listen to Metallica. When they knew what they were doing, kinda. Oh well
