Wapanese is just a stupid word people slap on people that like Japanese pop-culture. I've seen more people simply being totally intolerant of "Wapanese" than people who actually have some kind of obsession with Japanese culture. Once something has a name, people will just claim they found it over and over to give themselves some kind of redeeming quality. :roll2
That's pretty much beside the point, though. Wapanese = A person from a western country obsessed with Japanese pop-culture. And once again, welcome to the boards. :3

Lol Well, about the cursed avatar, Purcifur is the name I used ALL the time way back when I used the boards when I was a teen. I just recently found this avatar and thought it was adorable. ^^;
Thanks for the explanation on "Wapanese." Lol I don't know if I'm old or if I've just been exploring a different culture with different crazy online lingo. Like Faptacular I definitely know >.> But I never really found a group of "wapanese" on WoW back when I played lol. So I guess I just have some catching up to do on the forum lingo ^.~
And I love the name Purcifur too! Gosh I came up with it in highschool. I was went to a catholic highschool and was taught by a few nuns o.o So I'd draw this little kitty face with devil horns on all of my belongings and occasionally on the blackboard as well. I named it "Purcifur" cause he was the kitty lucifer. Heheheh. I should redesign him for kicks. That was a long, long time ago.
