If you don't "get" the point of Twitter, then you're probably not doing it right.

How does one "twitter" wrong

(to keep the post on topic i'll add that i have a facebook account that contains no vital information and that i check once a month.)

I have a facebook where repeatedly now I get added by random people I don't know. So far only 1 of these girls who has added me actually has turned out to be ok. The others are annoying and mostly get deleted within a few posts or I freak them out with weird :bou::bou::bou::bou: until they delete me lol. In fact just last night another girl added me, I don't recognize the picture though it looks quite like one of my friends and the first name matches but then the friend has a facebook and is on mine already. So far the wall posts consist of her going "hey gawjus xo" and me going "hey" to find out anything possible.

I also use a myspace for a few select people or things I don't want everyone from work/family to see. This is where I go to bitch about my job and the environment. This is where I go to bitch that my girlfriend kept me home on a work night out that having seen some pics I have to say looked great! :(

I tried Livejournal and although everyone loves it I didn't and thereore I stopped. There is no point to live spaces so I stopped. I also don't have any desire to tweet although many people I know do.

I use the internet because i dont want to socialise

facebook just to see what interesting things people i used to talk to forever ago and now have little to no contact with are doing. i log into my m-space about once every three months. and twitter is for :bou::bou::bou:s

I used to have a myspace, but I haven't been on there in over a year. I decided that I was gonna give Twatter a try. Might be useful. I could use that to tell people where I'm at so they wont call me during class =____=

Facebook, LJ and Twitter.

I have whatever everyone else I know has, so I can annoy the hell out of them.
LJ is my most used one, probably Facebook next.

LJ for keeping up with closer, usually online, friends. More detailed updates.
Facebook for keeping up with the above along with "long-lost" and local friends. Pretty basic updates, but more pics and more people.
Last.fm I used to use, but not so much anymore. I preferred to use it for the stats rather than the social aspects.
EoFF/omgmygame/CricketWeb for online community discussions.

I basically go where my friends go. So it used to be myspace and now it's facebook (bc my real life friends are there).

Ultimately it's all arbitrary since my real life friends are accessible via phone.

I rarely talk to people I know irl on facebook. I did it once because she happened to be online and it was easier to talk to her there than text her.

MSN doesn't count.

Oh yeah, my half-sister and stepsister sometimes contact me via Bebo. I forgot about that. They're the only ones, though, so it's kind of my little corner of the internet for them. :p
