Now we have a half-Sharpei, half-Norwegian Elkhound. Apparently, sharpei+elkhound = a rug with teddy bear tendencies. Sammy may be lazy, but he's great to be around. As far as small dogs go, Shetland Sheepdogs are the best if you can find one which is not too excitable (fortunately, my family did just that). I prefer larger dogs, though.

Corgis are cute. Some of my favorite dogs are Collies and German shepherds. There are other dogs that are cute too. I hate some dogs a lot also, like shiatzus and bulldogs.
