yeah the movie was surprisingly true to the game soundtracks
not quite as good though
yamaoka manages to make things a little queer in the way he writes, but it's so subtly queer that you don't notice it until it's stuck to your veins and at that point it's too late and you can't walk outside alone at night anymore (or during misty days)

I have the Complete Collection and then some of All Silent Hill soundtracks up to date.
My fav will always be Silent Hill 2 because it has the best bittersweet tranquil music...
A lot of my mates who are u aware of Silent Hill are yet truly moved by the music I play sometimes on my Ipod.
