EA. Don't they just own everything?
I never used to notice who made games when I saw the logos before the title screen, but one day I thought "wait...EA...again?!".
They make good games too.

EA is the giant in America. Square-Enix is the giant in Japan. A cataclysmic clash that only Madagascar can hope to avoid would result if they went all out ion each other :(
I don't know, EA's most successful franchise is a Madden which sells millions each year despite only offering cosmetic changes, its basically the same game. SE has survived the last decade by releasing ports and remakes of successful franchises and whoring out its most successful title from the previous decade, all while dangling the hope of a full remake in front of fans as long as they continue to buy the awful sequels/prequels/spin-offs and ports.
EA has more money than god and yet chooses to make cheap titles they can exploit on a yearly bases. SE is run by the Japanese equivalent of Activision's Robert Kotick who is more about profit than creativity. On the other hand... oh wait, this is about who would win in a fight and NOT about which company has closer ties with Satan? My bad...
This seems to fit here, due to the audience of this thread, instead of making its own thread in General Squenix where no one will care.
You should all look at the front site anyway.
An interview with Yoichi Wada, talks about interesting stuff regarding his plans/motivations.
