My dad taught me a few specialty knots many years ago, but I've forgotten most of them.

I'm actually fairly expert at knots...I can tie a few dozen, practical and decorative, ranging from button knots and bottle slings to turks heads and trucker's hitches. I am a very knotty girl. :tongue:

I know how to make the perfect knot when hand sewing. Unfortunately, I also have a talent in making the perfect accidental knots with the slack of the thread, so then I have to rip all of it out and start over. ;;
