I always give my characters 2 main jobs that no other chracter uses as well as mastering a few jobs that all the characters use (Thief and Monk)
Bartz: Sword Mage, Knight, Samurai
Lenna/Reina: White Mage, Summoner
Galuf/Krile: Black Mage, Blue Mage
Faris: Ninja, Time Mage
That is the standard set up but I usually give them more jobs to master (I cant remember them all right now)
-
I maxed all jobs out and leave them mimes
-
Bartz: Knight, Mystic Knight, Gladiator(GBA version)
Leila: White Mage, Time Mage, Mime
Galuf/Krile: Black Mage, Summoner, Mime
Faris: Monk, Dragoon
I would never move on to the next job until their first jobs would gwt mastered.
-
I maxed out everyone on every job
-
Don't remember exactly. But I did build evenly about the classes, but focusing on White, Black, and Time Magic.
Maybe Monk as a forth to master HP+30% to survive boss battles. My team was mages with High HP.

I would normally level mages appropriately to the level of magic currently available, because they were very easy to level. I'd try and keep at least one character as a ninja and/or ranger for their mastered ability, but also try to get a few thief abilities along the way. I switched in a Blue mage if there was a spell if i wanted to learn and tried to keep Blue magic on at least one character throughout. Most of the time, i would switch in classes as i needed them, bards for the dragon mountain in galufs world and mystic knight for bosses with a weakness i could exploit.
Basically i had fun with it =)

>>> At the beginning I always make Faris a Black Mage (i like the sprite), Lenna-Monk, Galuf-Thief, Krile-Geomancer, Bartz-??? whatever.. are among my favs..:luca:

Since I'm still leveling my characters up the job ranks, I have no real strict grouping unless the battles call for it - basically I'm changing my characters through the jobs fairly constantly. :D
