I'm not very good at initiating conversations, but if there's an awkward silence going on I'll usually just say "Good day for weather."

I seriously try to talk about pokemon in any conversation. I was involved in a super cereal conversation about [see my eoeo post] with a girl at the office, and I posited that it was necessary for a girl to like pikachu for me to like her back.

I'll try to talk about Formula One. If they're not familiar with the sport, I fall back on rugby league.

If it's a girl, I do a really good job of pretending I've watched True Blood.
