Do the Dew and Rock the Vote

What is the difference between citrus flavor, lime flavor, and the original mt. dew flavor? Seriously!

thought about grabbing some to try, but all I saw were 12-packs

@rubah: Well, the Lime flavor has an obviously strong lime flavor to it. Citrus has a more... citrus-y flavor and tastes very similar to Fresca imo, if you had tried that.

I don't think the new flavour are available where I'm at. Nevertheless, I usually hate new flavours of any soft drink (with the exception of Vanilla Coke and good ol' Pepsi Blue) and I quite like the original Mountain Dew, so that's where my vote goes.

Mountain Dew's ok, but nothing I'd bother buying for myself, so I likely won't be getting these anytime soon, either. The only soda I buy is the very occasional Coke (which is the brand Coca-Cola, rubah).

Speaking of new flavors MTN DEW recently had a run called Throwback where it used like cane sugar or something instead of HFCS. I don't know if it was just because I expected it to taste better, but I did like it more.

Apparently, most soft drinks/soda bottled in the US use HFCS instead of sugar. So I think this (or at least the 2009 version) is just supposed to taste like the Mountain Dew the rest of the world gets.

Btw. The name White Out is a big turn off for me. It reminds me of liquid paper/correctional fluid.. or whatever else it can be called.

What's the difference between Mountain Dew and 7up/Sprite anyway?

Mountain Dew tastes very different from Sprite and 7-Up. It's not the same as comparing Coke to Pepsi xD

Personally I prefer Sprite, but I don't like that anymore either.

I had it once and it tasted pretty much the same to me.

Mt Dew is the nectar of the GODS, people. I mean come on, this one's just basic. Don't eat poop, girls are nice to touch, Mt Dew is literal ambrosia.

I haven't tried any of these new flavors because I live in an utterly uncivilized backwater where Mt Dew is quite hard to get.

I bought the urm Typhoon one. It's all fruity with a kick. I kinda like it. I'll have to try the others though until I vote in the dewmocracy. I voted for the color and well not this gay name but it won.
