Its not that complicated, its pretty much move on after 12 hours but still give the person before a chance, that way you can still let the team down if you suck and cant post in 24 hours but without slowing down the game.

And the host doesnt have to worry about 10 different timezones

This game is hard. I would have thought Evastio would be number 1 or 2, and BoB would at least be on the board.

At least if we can't get another, all they can steal is a whopping 2 points.

Well, it seems like our players are mostly content with the 12 hours limit. Now, this got me thinking, I don't have a limit set for Team Stealing, I think I might shorten the time to 6 hours rather than 12 hours. What does everyone think?

I don't think you should change or make rules after the game starts (see: the rule where the team can communicate).
