My console broke a couple of months ago, and I though "who cares, I can live without one, I'm not paying £200+ for a new one.
Then I hear Portal 2 is announced. I bought a new console yesterday.
Game doesn't have the same impact on a second playthrough and it feels a lot shorter too. When I beat GlaDos the second time, I was like "already? I knew it took me longer the first time."
I still have nightmares about incinerating my poor companion cube. S/he never threatened to stab me, yet I was forced to immolate Him/Her. :kaocry2:
I played Portal. It was okay.
BJ watched me play a lot of it, mostly because he was interested to see if I did better or worse than him. When I dropped the companion cube in he was all shocked and said "Damn! No hesitation. You're cold."
But I had tears in my eyes. ;___;
