Krizz from FFXIVpro.com usually manages to put up direct links to the update. I used to have the link to his page, but it appears he's moved his stuff. You should be able to track him down no problem, though, as he's one of the moderators at ffxivpro.
Yeah I managed to find Krizz's website and get the patches. Unfortunately I still havent been able to actually connect to the server and start playing.

I've started adding the people we have partied with to this now that Danielle and I are playing regularly. I've added her as a pearlsack, too. We added a few people last night and we have a list of people we intend to pass linkpearls to over the next few days. Basically we're going for the people who are chatty and friendly while still being neat enough in battle.
After living in a dead LS for about a year or so, it is genuinely weird seeing the LS being used now. xD
So what kind of time do you guys log on? I'm usually in around 12pm GMT but not for very long. I just go on to renew my stands in the market wards. It's pretty annoying that the lease on last 24hrs and that you have to renew them in person.
My advice is every time you go to the wards, check through every ward in Ul'dah and see if there is a spot available to summon your retainer. Usually it's a good time around 8am going by today when Danielle and I both got both of our retainers moved to the ward we wanted them in.Quote:

A stand is annoying but I do kinda like having it. Makes me feel more professional and as long as they sell one item each then the stand pays for itself. By the way, I only have a my retainers because my inventory kept getting full, I'm not really interested in the money since all the leves cover that. So if there is anything at my stands you linkshell guys want then tell me and you can have it.
My retainers are Randomlooty and Randombooty and the stands are in battlecraft row and grocers row.
Trust me, when you get to L50 and you find some kind of gear for 8,000,000 gil that you really really really want... you'll want more than what you get from leves. :(
Updated the first post with a new listing of members. The ones in green have, to my knowledge, an active paid subscription - although that doesn't always mean they're active, such as the case of Bleys who paid for three months for Legacy but never actually was able to hop into the game. :)
I'm thinking I should really "do up" the OP of this thread, so if anyone has ideas of what to put in there, let me know. Maybe someday we'll get a banner and all that sorted out.

I'm alright, yeah. :) We've been playing Far Cry 3 pretty heavily lately so haven't been able to catch up with you... Batman: Arkham City is next. ;) Once Beta is out, we will definitely be jumping in to check it all out with you guys. :D

Soooooo, the Beta server names are up. I don't know if it's breaking NDA to discuss where we might want to meet up. I'll leave it at that. :)
