You've just played the best one imo (unless it was that horrendous Gamecube version in which case you need to take a long, cold shower. In your clothes.), MGS2 and 3 are also great games, but don't get your hopes up for a great end, MGS4 was pants.

MGS3 was the best MGS, without question, because you can fight off the ghost of a cosmonaut with a fork. The end. (unintentional word choice there, but that was a great boss battle too now that I think of it)
I also agree that MGS3 was the best one. Had the best boss battles. Plus capturing and eating creatures was a lot of fun. I thought the subtitle was a code name or something but no, you literally ate snakes.
How do you explain Snake becoming a one-eyed monster then? And President Johnson? :colbert:
It would've been even better if Snake was black.
Black...snake? I... I don't get it. So instead I'll post something that should've been posted a long time ago:

Congrats! Enjoy 3, it's a game worth savoring every minute of.
Finished MGS3 a few weeks ago, although I didn't complete a lot of the boss fights alone. The boss fights in this series really annoy me, but at least the bosses in this game actually die when you defeat them.
Anyway, good game! I think I like MGS2 better, but MGS3 is quite special!
Plus, Ga-ko uniform! "What's wrong with being cute?"
