Oh yeah, those roleplaying sites where you sign up and create a character... I'm having a hard time describing it really, but it's all text and picture based adventuring and clan making and what not, they had one for naruto and the eragon book series and all sorts of stuff. I was a major player in the naruto one for a while in middle school, I was running my own clan and fronting two others whilst making a habit of beating the final boss and leveling up every couple hours...don't judge, I had no life. :eep:
Porn.
Owait
Newgrounds.
This very site, though I am posting often again these days.
YTMND.
Sadly, MySpace.
Other various message boards.
I've been on 4ch since 2003 or 2004 - but back then it was a scary place with lots of gore, and I was afraid of gore bc I had not spent the subsequent 9 years laughing at it.
That reminds me. there's also that rot related site i won't name
as for actual hang outs where i am part of a community:
(all gone)
ff8.gamegurus.net
blackgoku.com
I was one of the most active posters in ff8 gamegurus, having beat FF8 in everything but the god forsaken card game (argh stop changing the rules i don't understand!). I even eventually found the secret monster whose name i forgot.
Actually it was gamegurus that brought me here.

I'd be shocked if anybody in this forum knew about BG. He's this (Black) dude in detroit who started this webpage aggregating dbz stuff. back in the day i offered to upload these 25 MiB episodes (lol i don't even know what bit rate they were) for him, and eventually he created a ubb forum which i joined and later became super mod.
It eventually fell apart but it was fun. We practice hard core cronyism and i abused a lot of powers to get rid of people i disliked (like changing their password and associated email - voila you get rid of a user). Please do this to me btw.
Anyway BG probably graduated college and grew up because I stopped seeing him online. I do have one (and only one) friend i still talk to online. One of the BG members lives in Toronto and I met him once (we went to a strip club; my first time there... lol strip clubs)
um...so yeah. Those are the two major ones other than EoFF. I still like EoFF more than BG, mostly because it has been far more drama and stupidness.
And you guys are ALL emotionally strange things. All of you. without exception. So freaking bizarre.

Eyes on Final Fantasy.
I used to post on Newgrounds in 2000 before it even had a proper forum. Yeah I was a stupid little retarded 13 year old on the internet and I vaguely recall Tom Fulp himself correcting my grammar. Saying that another forum member "rapez pigz" was frowned upon apparently.
Also christ Homestar Runner. That was a god damn website. I had like four t-shirts from there. It was the height of comedy to me when I was like 16 or 17. Blimey.
I never was big into the internet when I was growing up, never saw much use for it.
Two sites I did go to a lot... that I really regret are Gaiaonline and Basilmarket (was a forum for a game I played, terrible game, terrible forum)
I still go to the latter occasionally, but it's only to see how quick I can get banned there and how entertaining I can make it for myself.
I used to visit tons of sites on a daily basis. Now I only go to like three different sites on a regular basis. Looking back, I really don't know how I found the time to spend on so many different sites.
Newgrounds
SomethingAwful
Portal of Evil
5chan
AlbinoBlackSheep
Livejournal
Stickam
Many more I'm not going to name
Jeez, at least two of those I know for a fact don't even exist anymore.
I forgot about SomethingAwful and AlbinoBlackSheep. How could I forget AlbinoBlackSheep? I learned about Group X and Llama Llama Duck from there.
Oh and Stickpage and XgenStudios. Both of which I found through Newgrounds.
When I was in college I used to want to know everything there was to know about FFVII and I would trawl the internet for hours until I came across a site that eventually led me here, it was the FFVII Cove (I still remember the web address but it was taken down when Virtual Ave started charging people to use their bandwith ) but thats when I decided to find a new site to call my home, thus EoFF became my home site and hasn't been changed since I joined.
BTW if anyone here used to go to the same site, were you FudgeMonkey? cause I used to be BlackDragon2046... or something like that, still miss that dude, he was awesome.
