smurf allergies.
And smurf you, foa, for not having them.
I have allergies and they're a real pain.
When I spend time outside during the spring/summer my eyes start to water, I sneeze alot, and my nose runs. It depends where I'm at though. You won't catch me standing around a lot of flowers/pollen.
I've noticed that my hands start to swell when I empty the grass from the lawn mower bag to the trash can. Although, I'm not allergic to grass normally.
I've also noticed that I get what appears to be heartburn after I eat a peanut butter sandwich. I don't know if this is an allergy or not, though. It doesn't last for very long and I can go through a can of cashews just fine.
For some reason over the past couple of years I've been allergic to cats. I don't know if it's all cats. I just can't stand being around them for too long otherwise I show the same allergy symptoms as I do for pollen/flowers. Seems weird considering I had a few cats growing up and never had a problem with them.
....That list was longer than I hoped it would be. I might even be leaving something out. This list makes my allergies sound worse than they are, though.
I must admit it still feels pretty good to not be allergic to any animals.
Somehow I developed allergies to pollen when I moved to Arizona. It made springtime absolutely ridiculous and painful.
Other than that, I am moderately lactose-intolerant. I can have dairy products, but I feel icky later on :(
