That awkward moment when you make an off color joke around someone you thought you really knew and they are completely thrown off by it, especially awkward when said person is also your boss...

That awkward moment of really belting it out in the shower cause you figure the sound of the shower itself will drown it out along with the walls, and then your roomies mention how lovely your singing voice is when you get out...

That awkward moment when you're getting rid of a body and the police show up because you left your hazard lights on your car while you were parked on the side of the road next to your local body of water....

When you start telling a joke or a story and you realise halfway through that they won't get it.

When you just stabbed someone and realise it's the wrong person so you start apologising.

The awkward moment when at age 24 you use the phrase "totes awks awky mo mo" in a non-joking fashion & you instantly hate yourself for it :/

The awkward moment when you come out of the shower smelling of mint and a group of unknown people come down the stairs and sniff you.

That awkward moment when you're selling someone a hat and she asks for a military discount and you say no but then she says she's the wife of someone in the military and you still say no but then she says she's actually a widow of someone in the military and you can think of nothing acceptable to say but then she tells you to Google his name is millions-of-results common but you can't say that so you tell her to have a good day but then a few seconds later she comes back with photos of an ice cube from her daughter's soda cup at the IHOP that has the Virgin Mary frozen inside and she asks if I think that means there will be justice for her husband because she thinks so and you say totally and omg finally another customer needs help and she goes away.
