I recall a darker arena, at least one character with armor. I believe the character selection screen was vertical... gah! Useless brain!

Definitely not. And I would definitely remember transforming into animals. I looked up a video of Soul Edge on Youtube. Not it either. As far as I know, Soul Edge didn't have any cyberscape arenas available which is where I remember combating. Just ignore my delusions... stop trying to help... but thx:cool:
