Yup, just played through this part and Cid is a verbally abusive trout to Shera before the whole she's willing to kill herself for his dream checking stuff in the engine room idiocy. Definitely taking some of the joy out of playing. I think I will let Cid languish and not level him on purpose to punish the smurfing @$$. :(
She never fixed it because ShinRa cut the funding. She sucks at serving tea because she hates her life, and Cid.
I'm pretty sure no one actually wanted that smurfing tea either. But yeah, she hates her life. *sigh*
Just a heads up, there is a part where you are required to use Cid.

Eh, woman thinks is important, must not be. But it is pretty telling that she was already willing to die for his dream at this point. *headdesk*
