Blade Runner was pretty whaff.
I don't think they suck but I was underwhelmed. The first Iron Man seemed good but I think it's because I had lost faith in Marvel. Thor sucked. Hulk sucked. Captain America sucked. I watched Avengers and was like... really? I waited this long for this? It was serviceable, I guess, but talk about disappointment.Quote:

I legitimately liked The Village and was surprised by the ending.
I read the book of the Shining long before seeing the film and Kubrick completely butchers the whole point of the book, so I couldn't stand it. And I may have been over the top with The Exorcist, but there is nothing scary or even interesting in the film. It was slow, cringeworthy and more comedic than scary.Quote:
