The most disappointing realisation I came to the other day is that the 'future' from Back to the Future II is 2015. We're going to have to make a lot of progress in the next two years.
I was always fascinated by the idea of androids/robots/cyborgs being considered a race (or races, I guess) in the future.
I imagine it will be largely the same, except with greater technological advancements and even bigger bastards running everything.

Anyway I think it's all a bunch of trout. Remember what people in the 1980's imagined the 2000's would be like? What about the 50's? Just watch some movies or read some books from that era.
