I'm still in the demographic, but:
10-14: Something to do with science
15-Now: Forensic Science
I don't think I'll deviate from that much. :D

i wanted to be spider man
I wanted to work for NASA - I had no idea what I actually wanted to do there, I just wanted to work for them. Space still fascinates me to this day.
Then I went through a period of wanting to be a Vet. You know what I'd still love to work with animals some how actually - maybe at like a Kennels or something.
I also wanted to be Cabin Crew for Virgin Atlantic specifically xD I'd still love to do this actually but can see myself getting bored of it pretty quickly - that uniform though...
Then I wanted to work in TV (which happened around the time choosing A-Levels and subsequently my Uni degree so that's why I went down that route) - again never really thought about what exactly I wanted to do though. I guess I also sort of have a bitter taste of it after working in it for around 2 years, but think that was due to the fact my department commanded no respect so we all got treated terribly.
I also wanted to make games. Now I'm working at a games company - not making games... but hey. Again I never really thought about the "what specifically do I want to do"
So in retrospect I think I'm guilty of thinking too big and not on the specifics xD
I wanted to be a lawyer since I was 12-13.
Before that it was vet and cop.
Before that it was Batman.
Throughout all of elementary school, I wanted to be an astronomer (I believe I was the only kindergartener in my class who knew what that was). Since then, my dream job has been writing books and short stories for a living.
Video game tester. Oh sure, laugh all you want, but I honestly thought all you did was party and play video games while getting at least a billion dollars a year or something.
Story for you guys from when I was about five years old. I was at my cousin's house for some sort of family thing and someone asked my cousin, who was about my age, what she wanted to be when she grew up. She said "a cheerleader."
So they looked at me and said "and what do YOU want to be?"
And I said "A cardiologist."
A scientist, specifically an astronomer, but I was basically told that I wasn't university material (but hey, there was something similar said about Academic and University level classes going into high school and I ended up in them anyway because teachers said I looked bored) so I went to business school instead. :shobon:
Nah, Pike would just take the heart out and replace it with D cell batteries.
Age x-11 - inventor (although at the time I called it "professor" for some reason).
Age 12-14 - porn star sounded like a good idea. duh.
Age 15-19 - video game developer.
me: I didn't know you wanted to be a video game developer! What do you want to do now, babe?
Rantz: *thoughtful silence*
Rantz: Porn star, again.
I didn't care about having a job when I was younger, I was just concerned with having enough food :|
I could list the jobs I've wanted for the past couple of years, but... that would probably take hours :D
Writer of cheap fantasy novels.
I still wanna.
I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Closet I got was sixth graders who read at kindergarten level.
