Agreed :D
As one of those teenagers (Sort of) I cannot stand teenager language. It's just annoying, and meaningless drivel.
'Fag' actually has two slang meanings: Either in reference to a cigarette or as a derogatory term for a gay person.
We now also have 'reem' from a television programme...
Please play this in the background for my inspirational speech reading: Important as hell!
Now with this playing, and a truly patriotic frame set it's time for my most impressive British patriotism to date.
Patriotic SpeechWe speak the only true English in the world; so smurf off the lot of you!
I think that covers it all :)
If you little bitches don't like it go speak French. We never asked inferior colonial types like you to start tainting our glorious language with your uncultured tongues. Seriously. gtfo our language.
Bonus points to anyone who identifies where the new and improved thread title is from :)
It bloody well is. Good job!
Also don't get me wrong folks, I do like American English too and have incorporated a lot of American phrases into my own speech. We're better together! My point is that when you try to call the original creators of the language weird, well, that's just a little bit silly. And when you twist an innocent word into a homophobic slur, well, methinks it's not the British who are the ones with the problem. :monster:
But American English is closer to the English which evolved in the Renaissance and Early Modern period than British English is, which has deviated further in both spelling and pronunciation.
No it bloody doesn't. That sounds like Quin.
Fancy terms like "Biscuits", "Princess Di", doesn't exactly make you superior, laddy boys.
GO FRANCE.
i think croatian english is the weird one
Pretty sure we're both guilty of bastardizing the language, we're just the bigger asshats about it.

Honestly it sounds more like a Scottish accent to me than anything. I should know; I dated a Scotswoman for close to three years.
