This screenshot is probably a good place for a knowledge break. At this point, I'd been hit by confusion at least two dozen times. Want to know what it did all of those times? At best I hit the enemy with an attack I wouldn't normally. At worst, they literally did nothing. I was honestly starting to wonder if Confusion had any real downside aside from not attacking.
Then I went to the Ice Pyramid where Lamia encounters are frequent and on at least three occasions I almost died, and one time did die. And that was three or four times in a row. In the easiest game you will ever play. A game where I hadn't died since a bad luck critical from a Behemoth in the first battle. Go figure.
