A butterfly landed on me last month. In fact, two did. I wonder if I am now butterfly pregnant.
I love butterflies. They go excellent with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

I tend to be able to get butterflies to land on my fingers, it's fairly neat when it happens.
Speaking of insects, my work is like fronted with massive rose beds. As a direct result there's always bumble bees around and most of the girls I work with freak out, I normally just sit there ignoring the hell out of them, they're the big fat bumblebees that are genuinely harmless to most people all they want is the pollen from the flowers.
In New Zealand we had swan plants and Monarch butterflies smurfing love swan plants. We had loads of cocoons, caterpillars and butterflies on them every year. I love them because of that. Other butterflies are pretty and all that, but Monarchs are special to me because of how I've grown up surrounded by them.
Last Friday I was walking at work and I saw a butterfly on the road that looked like it had been injured and it made me sad :(
My dad found a dead butterfly and he brought it inside because he thought it was pretty and it's the worst thing augh I just hate those wings and it's gross and dghjas;lfkjuaw;leir
