I would like to get another tactics game. Not the light-hearted kind like FFTA & FFTA2, more like the War of the Lions (brilliant). I want that type of mood. I would like if they added something else to this games, Idk, some form of exploration. You go around towns exploring and pick up quests at the pub like usual, but you also get to see more of the world. This will probably appeal to no one, but a marriage of FF12 and the Tactics series, the open world with the grid-based battle style. Just me, though. I'm a big fan of Ivalice and an MMO based on it appeals to me. Something open like ff12, preferably without relation to the other entries in the series so far, would also be nice.
