Nah, the reason why online book clubs aren't successful is because book clubs in general are only partly about reading the book, and more about getting together to talk, hang out, drink, and eat while discussing said books. If you take out the collective meeting and the food + drinks, the whole thing starts to fall apart.
Maybe we need to offer cookies to get people to really discuss these books. :cookie::cookie:

Shouldn't we have a discussion thread for enders game before we start the next one?
There IS a discussion thread for Ender's Game. It's the July Book Club thread.
Locky: I think that a chapter a day might be overwhelming for some people. It seems kind of constricting. I was going to look at the amount of chapters/pages and split it up that way. So "Read to Chapter 5 by August 10" or something. That's just an example.
Alright, everyone Cloud Atlas is the book that has been chosen! :D I'll give everyone a couple of days to get a copy if they don't have one. Just post in here when you get your copy!
Let's keep the already stickied book club thread going. We can make new threads for choosing books.
