What ? People still do this ?!
Ticket To Ride is fun, with different editions, like Europe.
Clue is great
Bang is cool
Monopoly always finishes in a fight, people trade offers are always ridiculous

And tomorrow afternoon I'm joining friends who have an association dedicated to playing for an afternoon of boardgame playing in my favorite bar.
I love board games. Stratego, Risk, Monopoly, Scrabble, Boggle, I love them all. I've played Settlers of Catan once and liked that one too. I'm also really into this game called Munchkins that my brother has. We play it every time we get together.
We should have a board game night at EoFF.
Settlers of Catan is great. I also like to play several card games, including the previously mentioned Cards Against Humanity and also Gloom.
But I think my favourite game is still the one I played with Roogle. Haunted House on the Hill? House on Haunted Hill? Something like that; it was smurfing fantastic.
Last boardgame I played was Battlestar Galactica. I was the Cylon. Cylons won :smug:
I love board games! and card games! I love Rummy!
And Yahtzee. That's my fav. Our cat jacked the dice though so we can't play.
Denmark and I are getting the Game of Life tonight and drunken playing it. It's going to be inteeeeense.
Thanks to TableTop, my Amazon wishlist of board games just keeps on growing.... ;A;
Boardgames I've played recently and really enjoyed:
- Game of Thrones
- SmallWorld + the expansion
- Mansions of Madness
- Level 7
- Battlestar Galactica
- Arkham Horror
Munchkin is a great game. :jess:
Apples to Apples is another great one. Both played normally and as a drinking game.
My wife and I play Agricola two or three times every Shabbat. She's better at it than I am, but I can still win about a third of the time.
We own Dominion, but we're not great fans of it. And I got her into board gaming first through Munchkin, then into Fluxx and Chrononauts (after which we never played Munchkin again), all of which I had played before, followed by Lost Cities (an excellent, light, two-player game) and then Agricola. She absolutely loves Agricola.
