I like Affleck. Always have. He's been in some stinkers to be sure but when he has control over the film they're usually absolutely fantastic (The Town, Gone Baby Gone). Also he was great in Argo.

For me, everyone's reactions justify the decision, because it's already entertaining.

I like Affleck, but my gut reaction is to be skeptical. But then I remember that everyone, myself included, had the same reaction to Heath Ledger as the Joker so I'm just going to wait and see.

There should really be a 'One Superhero Film/Series Per Acting Career' rule.

Didn't really like Bale's Batman anyway.

I just can't take him seriously. All I can think of is his goofy, awkward sort of personality like in Armageddon or Jersey Girl. He is no Bruce Wayne. Also, he married J-Lo.

Which is why if they're going for campy, well, okay, he might work.
