1. First and foremost, make myself happy and not worry about making everyone else happy. I'll end up running myself ragged trying to satisfy everyone elses needs instead of my own, especially at work.
2. Find a better job! And I don't mean new line of work, just a new place to work since I practically make minimum wage on big, time consuming dogs. Besides if I want to keep this apartment I have to have something that pays more.
3. Get a new car! Not brand new, but considering the fact that my transmission is slipping and there's 10,000 other things wrong with my car, its just time. That goes hand in hand with the new job.
4. Draw moar! I'm already kind of slipping since I've been really busy. It just seems like when I'm fairly content/not emotionally distressed I don't draw.
5. Post moar! I'll try not to disappear for months/years next year :3
6. Develop a workout routine. I know, it's so typical but I'm not doing it to lose weight; I want to not feel like such an old person. I'm not even 30 and I make groaning noises when getting up. I chopped down my own christmas tree a couple days and I'm STILL SORE. I figured losing weight would kind of just be one of the benefits :)
7. Save up money to take some classes for an Entrepreneurship Certification so I can start up my own business some time in the next couple of years. I don't HAVE to have this but I feel that going in with some business knowledge will help me a great deal with starting up.
1. I already know I'll be moving next month, so there's that.
2. Find a job that -isn't- in a restaurant & pays an actual paycheck on a regular basis.
3. I want to be what I weighed -after- pregnancy. And in the same way- without the help of illegal substances like back in Phoenix..
4. Find some kind of balance between going home to Nashville and to Texas regularly to be with my kid & dad.
5. Get my driver's license back.
6. Save money and get stable so that I can get Parker back for good... My Parker. Not eoff Not-Parker. xD
7. Send my dad money on a regular basis to help with groceries and things.
*Get a job
*Get back in to the weight loss thingy I was doing that was working before I stopped and gained it all back this past few months :(
*Buy Suikoden V and re-play it
*Be able to hold a small, basic conversation in Spanish
I'll attempt to lose weight again and then I'll remember how much I love drinking.
Get a pay rise
Improve my cricket batting average
Increase pension contributions
Paint the spare bedroom
Buy a new car
...all this is doing is making me realise how many things I need to do.
Start saving for a deposit on a house. I hate renting!
- Finally get a driver's licence. Previously I've not needed it so much but I'm really starting to feeling limited without one.
- Save up for a decent car
- Make friends outside work. Since I moved here a year and a half ago I haven't made one friend that isn't a coworker or a friend of one. I'm a little fuzzy on where to start with this but I'm probably gonna look into classes for something I'm interested in. Thanks Jinx for that idea!
Edit: Actually, I'm gonna copy Manus with...
- Get a pay rise. I'm already doing server administration/service responsibility unofficially at work, so I'm gonna try to make that official and get a pay rise to go with it. Will also facilitate the second bullet point.

oh not those predictions
1) Get a new job, or a promotion - or both!
2) Finally start doing that second set of volunteer work
3) Get my damn driver's license, even if it's just so I can apply for jobs that "require" you to have one
4) Buy a new guitar, or go on an overseas holiday
5) Lose ten or fifteen pounds, but no more than that
6) Do some serious work around graduate schools
7) Nail a goddamn B Chord
8) Finish writing a collection of 6 - 10 short stories, so I can be considered worthy of this "writer" moniker everyone has me pegged under :p
9) Stop being so inefficient at answering emails
!) Have a bloody amazing and drama free birthday celebration
Oh, and maybe: Be better friends with eoffers? I've received some candy canes from kind people who apparently find me intimidating, and I think I've also scared Sephex into thinking I'm a frail, sensitive flower. I'm not that bad, you guys! BRING ON THE FRIEND SHIP
EDIT: Just bite the bullet and get that smurfing MRI done. *pours all her money down the drain*
Oh last year my goal was to get my drivers license and I did, but I didn't really need it...good to have at least.
I have the same goal that I have had for the past, what, three years.
Be:
- as swift as a coursing river
- as forceful as a great typhoon
- as strong as a raging fire
- as mysterious as the dark side of the moon
i know another new years resolution:
Get a ciddie award :D
