Having played a chunk of the way through DQ V prior to the DS (Fan Translations FTW! Well, for games not available anyway. :P) the DS is a huge improvement on it.

Well, I've heard of Ys, but never actually seen or played it or know nothing about it.
LPs give me an opportunity to learn about games I've never seen before, so I went with Ys purely because it is unknown to me!
