The only answer that isn't factually incorrect about the superior chocolate is Dark. Dark Chocolate to the end of days!

As someone who has CKD, I'm not really allowed to eat chocolate, but before that I love love loved Dark Chocolate! Generally my preference goes Dark > Milk (only if it has fruit in it i.e. Cadburys Fruit & Nut bar) > White. I generally don't eat white unless its on a cake or something similar, it's just to sweet.

I don't like straight up chocolate. Very occasionally I'll have some.
It's hard to describe, but dark chocolate tastes like objectively better milk chocolate was burnt and became dark chocolate. However, after eating dark, milk tastes kind of plain.
Milk over dark most days. But you can't beat:

Dark chocolate is straight up nasty.
80% dark with toasted coconut and sea salt.
For a long time as a kid, I had nothing but milk chocolate. Any time I got dark chocolate, my mom would take it away and say that it was horrible stuff that I wouldn't like.
It was only years later that I found out that she was just saving the good stuff for herself.
