Tetris Movie Announced

So now there's an Angry Birds movie, and a Tetris movie.

I wonder what's next. Candy Crush Saga?

This sounds like it will be one of those bad movies I watch with the intent of getting drunk and laughing at the cheesiness but instead get drunk and get sad and/or angry that the movie takes itself seriously.

Is this April Fools joke too late or too early at this point? Regardless, I'm excited.

I'm kind of hoping this is a joke so that I can start working on my own Tetris treatment. Since the announcement I've had random visions of this movie and the pictures in my head are awesome.

Don't forget the Gran Turismo movie by the 50 Shades of Grey director.

I get the feeling someone in Hollywood threw up their hands one day and said, "People always get mad at us for poor adaptions of their favorite video game characters and stories, so let's just make movies of games that has no characters or story to screw up."

And here we are.

I want this film to come from Bollywood with their awesome physics. It would be greatest movie of the century.
