I'm keeping my fingers crossed Sephy Clause gets me one.
I think there's plenty of great First Party games. There's also some solid third party ones as well, even though most of those can be purchased on the PS4 or XBOne.
I'm wondering if there's any plans for any new Squeenix games anytime soon.
Also, can you download FFIII (the real one, not VI) on the WiiU?

i haven't seen it on the EU shop.
The virtual console is seriously lacking a lot of stuff that should have been there.
