Just finished it...

Keep going. Chapter 5 is amazing. Chapter 3 is a bit slow. I was getting bored by the end of Chapter 4, but Chapter 5... oh man!

Yeah, that ending was...umm...yeah, it was a thing.

Does anyone know what happens if you choose to (SPOILER)become a l'cie? That seems like it'd have to completely alter the ending.

I also hear there's an added secret ending if you play through a second time.

Haha, I felt the same way. The game gradually starts to make more sense once you get about half way through though.

Super-easy Platinum.

I finally managed to dedicate more time to plow through it. Just finished it. Ugh. So, so bad. Pretty sure they made all the levels, assets and items for the game engine, then used a third-party mod to interject a storyline into the damn thing.

(SPOILER)I chose to become a l'Cie and then died when those Rersus what ever the hell they are got to like level 90. Was I supposed to die? WHAT THE HELL? Or did I need to stay mortal? As Aria would say I have no motherfrickin idea.

EDIT: So I just completed it after choosing to (SPOILER)stay mortal. Sooooo, that last boss fight. LAME! The CG sequence with Class Zero in the destroyed classroom was pretty emotional though. I honestly thought that the game had pulled some twist when Ace was daydreaming, but when it cut back to reality I was like "ohhh". Wasn't expecting Machina and Rem to come charging in to find Class Zero dead. Speaking of Rem, how the hell is she alive? Isn't she A) seriously ill and B) well, dead?! And Machina becomes a world leader and gets married? To who? Rem? I'm confused xD

Supposedly there's a whole bunch of new scenes in New Game+ that explain all those finer plotholes. I'm not feeling the urge to go through a second time to see them yet though. :p

Yeah I heard that. I'm not feeling it either to be honest. It's not like I'll be getting rid of my copy so I might go back to it at some point, but we'll see.
