The laundry room, even though I don't call it a washroom.
When someone says washroom I automatically think of the water closet.
Who even calls it a room? Just off to the toilet/loo.
Sharks is wrong. Washroom isn't a real word.
I call it the bathroom or the restroom, but I've heard it called the washroom before so I think of bathroom when I hear washroom. I'd never heard laundry room called washroom until his family :shrug:
It's led to some confusing conversations
It depends on the region/ accent you use. Some regions take their language to specifics. It's most noticeable when you're talking with people whose primary language isn't English. Makes for fun conversations when you're visiting other places, or impromptu pictionary games.
Man, that is even more leaving nothing to the imagination.
In answer to the OP, washroom makes me thing of... sinks. I don't think of either a bathroom or a laundry room. Just sinks.
