I'd remind everyone, that said mother's plan for her son was to have him loved posthumously after sacrificing himself for the Final Summoning because she believed no one would accept him. Her own sacrifice deeply traumatized said kid, who proceeded to murder his father, kidnap a girl to force her to marry him, genocide the Ronso, and try to hijack Sin so he could kill everyone in Spira because he decided being Unsent/Fiend is better for it.

Good intentions, but awful parenting.

And she joined Yuna's gang as a giant fish monster and wacked her son! :bigsmile:
