Nail polish and Oreos.
Pretty sure the correct answer is oxygen, water and sustenance.
I actually hadn't experienced spring until I went to uni.
Where I come from, which is the far North-East area of Poland, you get a super hot summer, then suddenly all the leaves fall, everything turns gray, and you go from 35C to like 5C, and it's basically winter. Then in April the snow suddenly melts and it just keeps getting hotter, so there is really little transition time between summer and winter.
I hadn't thought there was anything but having read this thread and thought a bit, I don't think I could live without Spring and Summer. I hate the cold, and I feel it more than most. If it was winter all the time and it was cold and dark all year... I don't think I could handle that.
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I hate Winter. I love snow and frost, they're beautiful. It's just that it all goes on far too long for my liking, and knowing it's only temporary helps me get through it.
The funny thing is, it's only in this winter and the last that I've thought this way. I didn't mind the cold at all before that. Probably because my family home had guaranteed warm heating which I abused because I didn't have to pay for it. But, my first winter renting a house (I was in University halls before that, but they had decent heating), there was no heating except a small radiator that didn't work and the window was only single-glazed. The nights got very unpleasant sometimes. When Formy wasn't there to warm me up, I'd often just lie there shivering, unable to fall asleep.
Those are my exact feelings. As long as I was isolated from the cold, winter was fine. Now, I really could do without it, and I don't even like snow anymore either
I couldn't survive without air conditioning, cars, pizza, ice cream, hamburgers, fries, chips, cheese...... Wait. I think I'm just hungry.
I'm pretty convinced I'd die without being able to cool down when I wanted to though.
Love, video games, the internet, nice food, warmth.
MissH. I suppose I should say my son as well but not having slept all week means he only just makes it.
Things I could live without but it would almost make life not worth living... computer games, steak, tea, toilet paper.
Music.
Creative outlets, including art and comedy, Thai food, coffee, my dog, and temperate climates. And also my car.
My brain.
Books
Coffee
Corgis
Jogging
Meditation
Music
Pigeons
The Outdoors
Sex
I mean, I could survive without these things but I'd be a miserable mess.
