Even if the hair on top of her head was pushed down, it would be much, much, much shorter then the hair at the back of her neck. Trust me. I know. I've grown out several pixie cuts in my lifetime. Girlfriend's got a mullet, and she's just doing the best she can to make it appear less so.

The hair on top of her head absolutely is. If she didn't spike it, it would reach her sideburn. It's a mullet.
Mullets are shorter on the top and longer on the back, how would shorter on the sides and longer on the top be a mullet? At this point i don't think you know what a mullet even is hahaha
