Can't say I've seen them, but will add them to the queue.
im not really an anime person and haven't seen all that many shows, but evangelion is one of my favorite all-time things.
i started with end of eva from a friend. i had no idea wtf was going on.
the whole franchise is in a big weird mess, with a bigger and weirder fandom, but i still love it for all its faults
There are a couple episodes of Evangelion that I enjoyed, but Japan kind of burned me out on it. You couldn't turn around without seeing something Eva-themed. Even bars and pachinko parlors had Eva stuff.
Yep, that's part of the franchise mess. It's worse than The Simpsons merch in the 90s. People will, of course, buy anything :shruggo:
There is actually an amusing YouTube video that asks the question: "Can you survive a whole month on just Eva merch?".
I've seen it and it is glorious (SPOILER)The answer is yes
Damn some of these are classic, and then are really CLASSIC
I just consider a classic anime to be a (usually) older anime that was decently popular, but there are some newer things I'd consider classics because the hype didn't die down when the next big anime came along. I'd consider SAO a classic even though it's relatively newer than most "classic" animes. I don't consider an old anime by itself to be a classic because old doesn't always equal good. I'd probably consider most of the Ghibli movies classics also.
As for my favorites though...that's tougher. I remember Sailor Moon & Digimon being some of the first animes I ever watched, but I think I have fonder memories of stuff like Pokemon (up through gen 3) and Yugioh (the original; GX was garbage and I unfortunately never caught up with 5Ds). I also got super into Naruto so I feel like that deserves a mention.
Higurashi no Naka Koro ni is still one of my favorite series that I find myself going back to rewatch every couple of years.
Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star and .Hack//sign are my three all time favorite anime. I dunno if they're considered classic anime though.
Without picking a specific show, some of my favorite classic anime memories are stitched together commercials from Toonami. I remember back in the day there would be inspirational or motivational speeches or concepts attached to drum & bass music.
Sailor Moon, especially the first three seasons.
Attack on Titan and Geass are 2 of my all time favorite classic Anime.
Initial D, one of my favorite classic anime. Since I love cars. And since I love it, I am also into knowing the helpful tools for my car. Just like my ObdLink LX Bluetooth Scan Tool https://bestobd2scanners.com/obdlink...indows-review/ that is really of great help.
These are my favorites: Saint Seiya,Hokuto No Ken, Captain Tsubasa!
