It 100% was, but it did such a good job at trying to be bad that it was terrible.
Wife and I watched Mortal Kombat Annihilation the other day and we cringed so hard. It was such a baaaaaaad movie we enjoyed it as a comedy.

Almost forgot this gem.
Of all the Batman movies, I feel this is the one I came around to the most. I went from hating it, to finding it unintentionally entertaining for how awful and cheese ball the whole thing is. I think Batman Forever is probably the weakest film in the franchise.
Haha yeah that's a good bad one. My brother and I loved watching that growing up. It was an at least a twice a week adventure - and his Bat Visa, never leave the cave without it still kills me
Batman Forever is definitely the worst. Batman and Robin is one of the best because of how camp it is!
Why are fighting game movies so prevalent in this list? lol I was gonna suggest Dead or Alive. It's so campy and stupid, but tries so hard to be genuine. There's just something about it that makes me feel good. And I totally forgot about how much I love Mario Bros. Probably helps that I don't really care about actual Mario games, and I care a lot about the actors in that movie. And it came out at a time where I loved weird dystopian worlds
You could probably also name almost any 80s cartoon that ended up having a movie. Except maybe Duck Tales. But I remember the Carebears movies being pretty groan, in a great way. Anyone see the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special? lol
That terrible Dead or Alive movie is actually pretty enjoyable to watch.
The Resident Evil movies were corny as hell but I love them.
The room.
It's pretty much impossible for a fighting game movie to actually be good, so this is pretty much the best they can do. Maybe that's why.
The anime Street Fighter 2 movie from Manga studio is pretty stellar. Had someone thought to do something like that in a live action setting, it may have worked. And a lot of the pieces to the original Mortal Kombat movie were pretty good. They just had corny B-tier actors and line deliveries that make it a lovable cheese-fest. Thought honestly they may have had more staying power as lovable schlock than they would have as forgetting high budget action fests
ginger snaps
it's on YouTube too but I'm not linking it here
