No, actually, it'd just make less people in the chat, still not talking. 70% of the time, unless my name had an away message in it, and I wasn't talking, I was just doing something other than devoting 100% of my attention to the chat. Furthermore, why the HELL does it bother you so much? It's not like there's ever more than one screen length of names on the list, anyway. @______@

It's just annoying when I log into a room with 35 people in it, and none of them are actually talking. Heck, I leave my computer online 24/6 (not 7), but I don't just idle on messengers/chatrooms. It's like a courtesy thing... don't let people think you're active/online unless you are.

Back to the Prom thing, if we do have one, I think the forum format worked better than the chat one.

Organize a prom if you want. I don't care. Chat or forums; doesn't matter to me as long as everyone keeps their clothes on this time.

EoFF proms have to be the lamest thing ever. I did have fun at Kishi's #theboxer antiprom once, though.

Maybe next time this kind of thing could be suggested earlier. :/

I personally don't like the idea of any online prom of any kind. It's been fun the first time around, but it just lost it's luster. meh

I agree with Prot, except that it wasn't fun the first time around and never had any luster.

I don't care if other people have it though.

They have been just silly.=) But if you have to make EoFF prom, make it in forums. I'm always ready for good spam-fest.:cool:

I don't know about a prom but it would be fun to have a formal themed evening. Everyone could pick/find avatars that are wearing formal wear and the default board style could be changed to something more formal for a night. Maybe not a prom but it would be a fun to see a formal setting for the forums for an evening.
