Sephiroth is somewhat easily defeatable if you know his attack pattern. If you don't know when he is about to use Sin Harvest, then say goodbye. But my trick to beating him is in the second wave of attacks, when he is running around like crazy and teleporting everywhere. I just focus on keeping the target lock on him at all times and I only hit him when he is about to use Sin Harvest. Superglide is a lifesaver in this situation. All of his other moves are powerful but fall short of the power of the Sin Harvest attack. If you can avoid that you can defeat him with moderate ease. It took me about eight tries to realize what to do, and after that I can beat him every time, no problem.
Yup, he definantly has an pattern to his attacks.
attack, fire-spell thingy, attack, sin-harvest... and so on. :rolleyes2 Not that I wouldn't have it memorised or anything...
I'm not even going to dignify that with a proper response, however, I might hit you with my flute. So there.Quote:

I tried to beat him for the first time while playing KH at the "Innoventions" exhibit at Epcot in Disneyworld. Everybody was mad when I would attack him a lot, and nothing would come off his health bar. I had to inform them that he had an invisible health bar. I got him down 2 bars before realizing that there was no point, so I let him kill me. :)
This is one of those things that'll probably be debated until the end of time. Every source out there says "Sin Harvest". However, in FF7, the attack Sephiroth used that had the same effect was called "Heartless Angel". Apparently what he's saying in KH is "descend, Heartless Angel!". I haven't really ever listened to it carefully, I'm always too busy pressing up then X.Quote:

I usually play him when my parents aren't home so I can turn it up rather loud, and I always hear him say "Sin Harvesting". I guess it is one of those things that will be debated for a couple of millenia though, so oh well.
I call it both. Either way, when trying to beat him today, when I turned on my PS2, it started to get Disc Read Errors for all PS2 games. So poo. I guess I'll have to wait awhile.
