I'm from Melbourne, which is roughly 20,000 kms from Moston.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I'd assume it is about several hours flight from Moston.

If any of you ever get a chance to go to Moston - don't bother.

Note the SOUTH part, suggesting Manchester is in the NORTH.

Hence meaning that it is the length and breadth of dirtiness and so on.
